Data Developer

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Developer - Data Management to join a highly reputable investment management firm supporting their enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem. This onsite role ( Wayne, PA - 4 days/week) will play a key part in developing scalable data solutions using low-code ETL tools, SQL, and Python to drive strategic business insights. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform data profiling, source-to-target mappings, ETL (low-code) and/or Python development, SQL tuning, testing, and implementation • Contribute to data warehouse design decisions and recommend optimal structuring strategies to improve processing efficiency • Provide both business and technical analysis to support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence initiatives • Develop detailed technical specifications and ETL documentation in collaboration with Data Warehouse Architects and BI Developers QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • 3+ years of experience building data solutions and managing data movement • Advanced Python and SQL skills, with experience across Microsoft and Linux environments (required) • Experience with integration patterns (flat files, APIs/web services) and low-code ETL tools (required) • Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts is required (ER diagrams, normalization, dimensional modeling/ star schema) • Proven ability to write clear technical documentation and troubleshoot complex code • Ability to translate business needs into effective, value-driven technical solutions COMPENSATION: • Salary Range: $85K-$110K • Full time • Onsite Requirement: 4 days/week in Wayne, PA • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on (2/2/2026).
