Game Design Track Volunteers (Scratch/MakeCode)

BuildPlayLearnLabs is seeking motivated and organized volunteers to join our Game Design Team. Help students create their own games, develop coding and storytelling skills, and learn problem-solving! These roles offers a unique opportunity to support our mission of fostering STEM education and youth development. The following roles are currently available: Lead Instructor – Teach game design curriculum and guide class projects. Assistant Instructor – Support the lead instructor and assist students during activities. Classroom Mentor – Provide one-on-one guidance and encouragement. Support Volunteers – Assist with setup, cleanup, materials, and general student support. Qualifications: Interest or experience in coding, game design, or creative storytelling Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Passion for education, youth, and community engagement Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Position Details: Part-time internship with flexible hours Hybrid program with opportunities to work from home Work closely with the founder and lead projects Join us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.
