We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vocational Services Worker to join our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will conduct vocational adjustment services and activities. Your work will involve assessing individuals to determine their therapeutic needs and interests then determining appropriate workshop, group, or individual setting for each individual. You will provide individualized vocational sessions based on individual's abilities, interests, and vocational needs, as well as learn new workshop duties and skills. Some of your duties will include overseeing workshops tasks, preparing workshop areas ahead of sessions, and documenting workers' progress. Additionally, you will participate in departmental meetings and committees and multidisciplinary team meetings as a treatment team member. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may changed based on operational needs. Free parking! REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of paraprofessional experience providing vocational services to individuals with physical, medical, or intellectual disabilities; or A bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, vocational education, vocational counseling, or a related human services field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
