Position Overview We are seeking a Skilled TIG Welder with experience welding Tool & Die components. This role will involve both TIG welding and laser welding. Prior laser welding experience is not required, we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong TIG fundamentals and attention to detail are critical. Responsibilities & Skills Perform precision TIG welding on Tool & Die components Laser weld components (training provided) Select and identify proper materials, including weld wire and filler selection Prepare materials for welding (grinding, cleaning, fit-up) Read and work from complex blueprints, drawings, and written/verbal instructions Compute, verify, and document dimensions and tolerances Determine appropriate welding practices for each application Inspect and verify part quality Contribute to continuous improvement of shop processes Ability to think critically and "outside the box" when solving repair challenges Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Position Demands Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Ability to sit for extended periods daily Must pass vision screening Overtime available during peak workloads or special projects Performs repetitive, high-precision work Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Simple IRA with up to 3% employer match Paid Time Off Clean, climate-controlled work environment Annual performance reviews with opportunity for wage increases Training on advanced laser welding technology
