The Department of Mathematics in the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an enthusiastic Undergraduate Program Coordinator to join our collaborative and dynamic staff team. Working closely with the Undergraduate Director and in collaboration with faculty committees, this role, manages a broad range of responsibilities that directly supports undergraduate studies. Responsibilities include: • Coordinating key annual events such as the High School Math Contest and Undergraduate Awards Day • Supporting textbook selection processes and placement testing coordination • Managing undergraduate student communications; and preparing program materials This position plays an essential role in delivering a well-organized, student-centered undergraduate experience while serving as a primary contact for undergraduate inquiries. The Coordinator contributes to a team environment that values communication, professionalism, and shared responsibility, helping to ensure the smooth and effective administration of the undergraduate program. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of computers to include full knowledge of MS Office, prefer knowledge of USC systems such as Banner. Requires good telephone etiquette and excellent attitude; well-organized work habits with attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills a must; ability to make independent decisions; ability to maintain confidentiality; knowledge of USC policies and procedures.
