Opportunity Details Full Time Blaster/Painter Blaster/Painter JOB-10045982 Anticipated Start Date Mar. 2, 2026 Location Conroe, TX Type of Employment Contract Hire Employer Info Our client specializes in engineering and fabrication of rig systems, wellbore technologies, and completion and production solutions. Job Summary Our client is currently seeking a Blaster/Painter whose role includes painting applications, preparation of paint equipment, and preparation of equipment surfaces to be painted using sandblasting, hand sanding, taping, pneumatic hand-operated sanders, or grinding apparatus Job Description Painting applications, duties include, but are not limited to Preparation of painting equipment and paint Preparation of equipment surfaces to be painted using sandblasting, hand sanding, taping, pneumatic hand-operated sanders, or grinding apparatus Movement of material and equipment to staging areas as needed using an overhead crane Apply primer and paint per specs Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and/or manufacturing needs Capable of operating overhead crane All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping including, but not limited to - sweeping, emptying trash barrels, proper storage of chemicals, etc. Skills Required High attention to detail Reliable/dependable Previous sandblast experience Previous work experience using 2-part epoxy paint Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or GED Additional Requirements Must be able to work and stay on your feet for more than 8 hours daily and on weekends as required Must be willing to work in an on-the-job training status for the first two to three weeks of employment Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate - i.e., no air conditioning in the plant Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, with 8 hours on Saturday Pay Rate/Salary $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
