Look No Further!The Coordinator of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity adjudicates alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct and the Honor Code and serves as a generalist supporting all functional areas of student conduct and academic integrity, including outreach, education, training, and assessment. This role evaluates learning outcomes, makes recommendations to enhance student achievement, and may assist the Student Care and Outreach Team by contacting students in distress during high-volume periods. Operating under general supervision, the Coordinator exercises independent judgment and decision-making authority in resolving cases, with decisions and recommendations routinely implemented, and reports to the Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Adjudicate report of alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct and the Honor Code 2. Assist with assessment efforts directed at assessing process efficacy and student learning outcomes 3. Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other CredentialsPreferred Qualifications Experience in adjudicating student conduct and academic integrity cases. Experience with the Maxient electronic database. Experience presenting to large groups. Experience with developing and assessing learning outcomes. Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with students and staff Pending graduates eligible if candidate receives their degree by the date of employment Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to identify problems and develop and implement realistic solutions. Able to analyze information and quantitative data and apply that which is relevant in a positive and productive manner. Keep updated with topical issues regarding academic integrity and student conduct administration. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Job Duties Job Duty Adjudicate reports of alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct and the Honor Code: Determine appropriate response and resolution to conduct matters and help to coordinate time sensitive actions. Provide case management to an on-going case load by triaging cases, tracking unheard cases and addressing overdue sanctions. Coordinate logistics for Carolina Judicial Council (CJC) hearings. Work with faculty on gathering information related to Honor Code cases. Assist with interviews and information collection for organizational misconduct cases. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 60 Job Duty Assist with assessment efforts directed at assessing process efficacy and student learning outcomes: Administer assessment tools based on educational outcomes and assist in determining when revisions are needed. Utilize the Maxient database to inform assessment efforts and strategic planning. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Facilitate educational sanctioned workshops and outreach opportunities: Benchmark and implement recommendations to enhance educational workshops for students. Conduct presentations to University 101 and other campus partners on topics including the Carolinian Creed, the Honor Code and Student Code of Conduct Assist with trainings for University Housing, University 101, and other key constituent groups.
