Position Summary We are seeking a bilingual Production Helper to assist our welding and painting teams. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least one year of shop experience-or recent technical school graduates-who want to develop their skills and grow into specialized roles. Key Responsibilities • Assist welders and painters with preparing, cleaning, and organizing parts for production and coating. • Sand, grind, and clean surfaces as directed to ensure quality preparation. • Use basic shop tools such as grinders, drills, paint guns, and MIG welding machines for simple tack welds or spot welds. • Handle and move materials manually within the shop area. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity. • Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders promptly. • Consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with OSHA safety standards. Required Qualifications • Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required). • Bilingual English/Spanish required. • Minimum of one year of shop experience (or recent graduate of a technical program). • Ability to safely use basic shop tools (grinders, drills, paint guns, MIG machines for basic welds). • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in environments with heat, dust, or noise. • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills. Physical Requirements • Regular lifting, bending, and manual handling of materials. • Standing and walking throughout the shift. • Consistent use of PPE as required by OSHA standards.
