Expense Report Specialist Location: Knoxville, TN Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire (as appropriate) About the Role We're seeking an experienced Expense Report Specialist to support travel and expense operations for a Knoxville-based team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial data, and experienced in administering and auditing expense reports within Concur (required). You will play a key part in ensuring accurate reimbursement processes, policy compliance, and timely vendor/employee support Responsibilities Administer all functional aspects of travel & expense reimbursement. Audit employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Research discrepancies and resolve issues related to travel and expense submissions. Manage incoming inquiries from employees and leaders regarding travel & expense procedures. Maintain and update vendor and employee profiles as needed. Support reporting, documentation, and project-based financial tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth payment workflows. Required Qualifications Concur experience is required 1-2+ years of experience in expense reporting, accounts payable, accounting support, or similar. Strong attention to detail and ability to audit financial documentation. Excellent communication and problemsolving skills. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional expense or ERP systems. Previous experience in a highvolume financial operations or shared services environment.
