CNC Machining Apprenticeship - 1st & 2nd Shift | Paid Training| St. Louis, MOThe Gund Company is launching a CNC Machining Apprenticeship Program for individuals who want to start a long-term career in advanced manufacturing. No previous machining experience required-just strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn. This is a hands-on, paid training program that prepares you for a skilled role as a CNC Operator with opportunities for continued growth. What You'll Learn How to operate CNC mills and lathes Reading blueprints and machining instructions Precision measuring using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Basic machine setup, tooling, and offsets Material handling and safety best practices Quality inspection fundamentals What You'll Do Assist experienced CNC Operators during setup and production Learn and follow standard operating procedures Support machining, material prep, and general shop tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to grow What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Willing to learn new skills and cross-train Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent (Manufacturing experience is a plus but NOT required.)
