Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,192 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - CVICU Job Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM• Schedule: 3x12 shifts per week• Every 3rd weekend required• Patient ratio: 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends• Float required to CCU as needed• 2 years of experience required• First-time travelers accepted if they have CVICU experience• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions• Must have either compact license or MD license• 36 orientation hours provided• Two supervisor references required• Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of contract signing• Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing• Care for adult patients with cardiovascular conditions including post-cardiac surgery patients• Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, ECMO, ventilators, and CRRT• Manage patients with conditions such as CAD, MI, CHF, and post-surgical cardiac procedures Facility:This healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in the care of critically ill cardiac patients. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including cardiac surgery, structural heart procedures, and advanced cardiac interventions. The unit maintains excellent interdisciplinary support with IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
