Manufacturing Financial Controller

Job Description We are looking for a meticulous and results-oriented Manufacturing Financial Controller to lead the financial operations at our manufacturing facility. This critical role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and data-driven decisions that enhance plant performance and profitability. You will collaborate closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with operational execution. The Impact You'll Make As the Manufacturing Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of financial leadership within the plant, providing timely and precise financial insights that support operational decisions. Your analysis and counsel will significantly impact efficiency, margin enhancement, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions at the plant level, including cost accounting, inventory management, and monthly financial closing. Develop and maintain comprehensive product cost models for pricing strategies and margin analysis. Partner with plant leadership to create budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis. Track and report on KPIs, delivering actionable financial insights to enhance productivity and minimize waste. Ensure adherence to GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls. Lead financial performance reviews with plant leadership to assess and improve financial outcomes. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to synchronize financial and production objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred). 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance. A minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing setting. Robust knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and communication abilities.
