Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading provider of integrated healthcare technology services specializing in electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management solutions. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the organization's financial operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This position is responsible for maintaining invoice integrity, managing vendor communications, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in financial reconciliation, payment processing, and vendor relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Invoice Processing & Documentation Review invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to processing Enter and upload invoices into accounting systems accurately Process invoices and check requests in a timely manner Maintain organized documentation and records for all transactions Payment Processing Verify costs prior to purchase order payment processing Process vendor payments via check, ACH, credit card, and vendor portals Ensure payment accuracy and adherence to company procedures Vendor Communication & Issue Resolution Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries Research and resolve accounts payable and receivable discrepancies Process credit applications and maintain trade references and resale certificates Reporting & Month-End Support Perform month-end closing duties and cost verification reviews Assist with audit preparation and reporting requirements Review open deposits and accounts payable aging reports Support KPI tracking and reporting initiatives Compliance & Reconciliation Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide audit support and reconciliation assistance as needed Requirements include: Education: Associate degree or two-year college degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred) Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable experience Experience supporting financial operations and invoice processing workflows Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Customer-service oriented with strong vendor relationship skills Certifications: Relevant accounting or finance certifications are a plus but not required Knowledge: General ledger principles and accounts payable best practices Month-end close procedures and financial documentation standards Internal controls and audit support processes Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience with DDMS and Hedberg software preferred Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Time management and prioritization skills High level of professionalism and confidentiality Attention to detail and process accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication and collaboration skills Accountability and reliability in meeting deadlines How to Apply: To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
