Prepare and set up all necessary equipment and supplies for ordered tests. Obtain and review patient history and documentation; educate patients about procedures. Continuously monitor and document the patient's condition, immediately reporting any adverse reactions. Operate and maintain various diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to EEG, EP, and PSG devices. Identify and correct artifacts during operation. Analyze, score/graph, document, and report the results of all diagnostic procedures. What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred. Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred. Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred. Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
