Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:MRI Tech Job Details:• Monday through Friday schedule with Friday as part of regular schedule• On-call requirements: 1-2 nights per week from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and every 5th weekend (Saturday/Sunday - 24 hours)• No floating required between departments• Work with adult acute care and outpatient patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics• Daily census of approximately 30 patients with 2 MRI rooms available• Perform various MRI procedures including abdomen, breast, chest, GE, brain, face/soft tissue neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging• Experience with diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, multiplanar reconstruction, and perfusion studies• Use Centricity charting system for documentation• Work with Phillips scanners (Phillips MRI experience preferred)• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE protocols as needed• 2 years of MRI experience required• Level I trauma experience required• First-time travelers acceptable• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (MR)• PA license not required• 80 hours of orientation provided• Pass/Fail exam required for clearance with 3 attempts maximum• Previous charge experience preferred Facility:This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring advanced imaging services with modern MRI technology.
