Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 Opportunity:Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Job Details:• Work with 1:1 patient ratios providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services• Treat patients across full lifespan including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics• Perform technical procedures including tracheostomy care, nitrous oxide procedures, and proning techniques• Provide ECMO support and critical care respiratory services• Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas draws• Manage ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention protocols• Must have 2 years experience with full lifespan patient care• Active Illinois respiratory therapy license required• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)• EPIC electronic health record experience required• Charcoal gray scrubs required• Free parking available at facility Facility:This medical center provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services including pulmonary care for patients across all age groups.
