Job DescriptionAVP - Actuarial Pricing (Property & Casualty) Join a collaborative, impact-driven actuarial team where you'll shape pricing strategy, lead high-visibility initiatives, and influence enterprise profitability across Middle Market commercial lines. This AVP-level role is ideal for a seasoned P&C Pricing leader ready to drive strategy, mentor talent, and partner closely with underwriting, product, and regional leadership. What You'll Do Lead all actuarial strategy and pricing initiatives ensuring alignment with enterprise profitability goals. Oversee rate filings, regulatory submissions, and implementation of rate changes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance. Partner with actuarial and business leaders on forecasting, trend selections, IELR development, and performance monitoring. Guide the development of pricing tools, rating algorithms, and rate impact assessments. Provide strategic actuarial insight for new products, enhanced coverages, and innovation opportunities. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing actuarial team while fostering a collaborative culture across underwriting, product, and regional operations. Manage budgets and resources to support team execution and enterprise objectives. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field. 10+ years of progressive actuarial experience within P&C insurance, including 5+ years in leadership. FCAS designation required. Deep expertise in commercial lines pricing, ratemaking methodologies, regulatory filings, and rating algorithms. Strong communication, relationship management, and leadership skills. Ability to drive strategic initiatives while maintaining operational excellence. Compensation $180 - 260k (DOE) #LI-BS1 INDTJG-PS
