Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and customer-service-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will act as a liaison between our customers and our technicians, ensuring effective communication and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive services, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist in all duties relating to the rental process.Greet customers and gather detailed information about their service needs.Write and manage service orders, including descriptions of problems reported by the customers and recommended services.Provide customers with detailed estimates of costs and work timelines.Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of work.Monitor service progress and keep customers informed of any changes.Process service transactions and ensure accurate billing.Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism, providing high-quality customer service.Maintain detailed records of service orders, customer interactions, and services performed.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department.Assist in parts handlingAssist in office duties as neededPick up and deliver vehicles safely and without incidentMeet customer's delivery demandsEffectively test driver vehicles for quality control Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive service management or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in a service writer or similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong understanding of automotive services and repair processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in using service management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.Valid driver's license.
