Principal Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Required Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage solutions, networking components, and database platforms. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and/or Terraform. Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks (VNets), subnets, and network security groups (NSGs). Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Proficiency in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management, along with automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI. Experience utilizing Azure DevOps to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with Azure monitoring and management tools, including Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics. Solid understanding of Azure security capabilities and cloud security best practices. Experience with Azure Backup and disaster recovery solutions. Proven ability to manage IT projects, with a focus on delivering technical implementations and initiatives. Ability to evaluate business requirements, assess technology solutions, and develop high-level designs aligned with organizational goals and long-term strategy. Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in public cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure. Demonstrated alignment with organizational mission, brand principles, and core values, with the ability to model and apply these behaviors in daily work. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions) preferred. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline. At least ten years of experience supporting the operations, maintenance, and administration of IT infrastructure. Minimum of five years of experience serving in a Solution Architect, Principal or Senior Engineer, Lead Developer, or comparable role, with demonstrated expertise in designing cloud-native solutions and applying cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
