Akkodis is seeking a Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Engineer for a Contract with a client in Omaha, NE. Candidates must bring advanced Azure engineering experience with handson Bicep and DevOps automation skills as a core qualification. Rate Range: $53/hour to $ 56 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include: Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure landing zones and platform architectures. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM). Build automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application delivery. Implement Azure Policies, RBAC, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and security best practices. Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using PowerShell or Azure CLI. Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8-10 years overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in cloud platform engineering and 3+ years specifically working with Microsoft Azure. Proven expertise in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and integrating solutions into Azure Verified Modules (AVM). Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and implementation of Azure governance, security, and policy frameworks.
