Job Posting SummaryBaptist Health is currently seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor at our new location, Baptist Emergency Department St. Augustine! This is a full-time, day shift opportunity working Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a holiday rotation. Baptist ED St. Augustine is a new 24-hour free standing Emergency Department serving both adult and pediatric care. Backed by full resources of Baptist Health, we provide convenient access to expert medical attention for adults as well as specialized pediatric care of Wolfson Children's Hospital, which is the only full-service children's hospital in the region and the only state-designated Pediatric Trauma Center in Northeast Florida. As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will assist the laboratory department with meeting regulatory requirements, review of QC/QA, scheduling, observing techs, and signing off on competencies. This Clinical Laboratory Supervisor will have the responsibilities of: Exercising general oversight of all technical sections and performing supervisory functions for all staff of the Laboratory Services department. Ensuring that all Laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent Medical Laboratory practices. Assuming limited administrative responsibilities for Laboratory operations. Maintaining expertise and perform technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department, and clerical functions in one or more laboratory sections. Any candidate applying to this position must hold a Medical Technologist Supervisor's license in the State of Florida and have over 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
