Volt is immediately hiring for a Lead Electronic Assembler in the city of Kearny Mesa Ca. As a Lead Electronic Assembleryou will: Job Description Day to Day Responsibilities Acts as a working technical lead and trainer for an assigned workgroup, ensuring workmanship quality and throughput Builds assemblies from start to finish using work orders, drawings, and specifications. Assembly operations include wire cutting, labeling, crimping, soldering, heat shrink, potting/molding, IDC, backshell, harnessing, box builds, kitting, and continuity testing. Creates or verifies wire lists and assembly aids; identifies and escalates BOM, drawing, or process discrepancies. Provides hands-on technical guidance and assistance to assemblers. Trains employees on assembly techniques, workmanship standards, and job-specific requirements. Reinforces IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards and internal procedures. Acts as a first point of escalation for build-related issues. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills and Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in cable/harness assembly with minimal supervision Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, wire lists, and work instructions. Strong soldering and crimping skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications: IPC-620 and J-STD-001 certification preferred. Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm Pay Range: $26-30 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
