In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring our production activities for the Maintenance business segment. The Financial Analyst will provide a wide field of financial analysis and reporting for Service and Solution to include absorption reporting, including cost accounting analysis, forecasting, labor rate calculations, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will also drive the digitalization of reporting, analysis and planning of operations. This exciting and challenging position is based in Lexington, North Carolina and will report directly to Segment Controller.What will you be doing?Being a financial partner for plant manager, you will provide and perform financial reporting and variance analysis for Operations Finance Manager (Forecasting, month end close, budget).This includes but is not limited to: Validation that monthly financials are accurateprior to closing in the system. Interaction with operations team to derivemonthly closing commentary and variance drivers Analysis of balance sheet data and forecastingof key positions. Monitor labor bookings, absorption reporting. Cost Accounting analysis and Cost Center Controlling. Align production schedule towards forecasting. Supports month-end & ongoing reportingincluding PUMA/Productivity, P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital Expenditure(CAPEX), Inventory, Reserves, Warranty, and Journal Entries. Provides analysis on operations financials todrive improvement in the organization to Operations Finance Manager and PlantManager Drives implementation of digital solutions forthe operations. Perform historical and/or trend analysis on keybusiness components Handles Ad hoc reporting for Operations FinanceManager, Plant Manager, and other local management teams. Acts as an advisor that troubleshoots andresolves complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functionalareas. To thrive in this role, you have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting orsimilar Understanding of factory/ manufacturingprocesses, understanding of cost accounting and financial concepts in amanufacturing set-up Experience in Variance Analysis, FinancialReporting and Forecasting. Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g.,V-lookups, Pivot tables etc.). Good understanding of Microsoft products(Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint). High degree of critical thinking and very detailoriented. Very good communication skills, in particular ina manufacturing setting. Ability to transition from non-digital todigital solutions. Understanding of SAP or similar ERP systempreferred. Self-motivated individual who requires andprefers little guidance from manager. Very good communications skills, including theability to provide data in a concise and appropriate manner. Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Knowledge in digital tools like Tableau, Knime,and Snowflake. SAP experience-Intermediate level.
