Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician Location: Sinton, TX Responsibilities: Provide skilled electrical support to: Automation, Instrumentation, and Controls Industrial: Distribution Centers, Data Storage facilities, Manufacturing Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil/Gas Industries Asset Integrity and Cathodic Protection Work independently with little to no supervisory oversight. May act as Lead Electrician overseeing multiple employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with little oversight. State Journeyman License or NCCER Journeyman Certification is preferred. Flexible and open to travel as required. Valid Driver's License and clean driving safety record Competent at wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power, and control systems from 24v DC to 1000v AC. Experience with terminations of 24vdc to 480vac Competent at installing aboveground, underground, inter-duct, and flexible raceway systems. Competent at installing cable tray systems. Competent at installing and maintaining power, control, grounding, and fiber optic cables. Competent at installing and maintaining power, and control equipment including but not limited to MCCs, Panelboards, PLCs, RIO cabinets, Luminaires, Receptacles, etc. Competent at reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, and technical publications. Competent in the operation of man lift equipment. Competent at leading other craftspeople of various classification levels. Competent at providing OJT to CEC crews Competent at processing paperwork related to timekeeping, Job Safety Analysis, material ordering, field tickets, and miscellaneous paperwork.
