Job Description Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Obstetrics Focus Are you a highly skilled CRNA seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive rural hospital setting? We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide exceptional anesthesia care in a vibrant, community-oriented environment. Play a vital role in delivering comprehensive anesthesia services for diverse patient populations, including obstetrics, at our small 99-bed hospital. In this role, you will work independently for most cases, supported by a team of anesthesiologists and perioperative staff available around the clock. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of procedures, predominantly obstetrics and general surgeries, ensuring safe and personalized patient care. Required Skills: Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification Active state licensure or eligibility Experience with obstetric anesthesia strongly preferred Proficiency in general anesthesia techniques Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in rural or smaller hospital environments Ability to manage a variety of anesthesia cases independently Knowledge of obstetric protocols and procedures Familiarity with preoperative and postoperative care coordination Preferred Education and Experience: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice, including OB cases Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Other Requirements: Ability to work 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts (08:00 - 17:00) Willingness to participate in 6 night call shifts per month (3-month rotating block) No trauma, heads, or hearts cases Travel and licensure reimbursements provided when applicable Commitment to delivering high-quality anesthesia services to a diverse patient population This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a community-focused setting while enjoying competitive compensation.
