Job Overview: The Product Development Finance Leader will leverage strong expertise in financial analytics, forecasting, and strategic insights to propel Marvin's business objectives forward. This role is pivotal in integrating best practices in financial analysis and reporting, enhancing overall business performance. This position collaborates closely with product development and management teams to create impactful analytics that assess the effectiveness of investments and initiatives. By fostering innovative thinking among stakeholders across the organization, this role will influence positive business outcomes. This job is located in Warroad, MN. Highlights of your role: Generate financial insights that are compelling and actionable, enhancing awareness of business and financial results. Establish a robust business analytics process, providing visibility into financial impacts tied to investments, particularly in product development. Engage proactively with functional leaders to deliver financial perspectives on business challenges and opportunities. Deliver executive-level insights, analytics, and presentations that illuminate financial performance and inform critical business decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of analytics with enterprise goals, equipping leaders with necessary tools for informed decision-making. Partner with diverse teams to develop effective analytics, incorporating various viewpoints and business implications. Implement metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives and use these insights to inform future enhancements and innovations. Build and lead a dynamic team of finance professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality financial support and analysis. Willing to travel up to 10% to other company locations. Perform additional duties as assigned. You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can): The ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work seamlessly across all organizational levels. Proficiency in developing analytic plans for various business programs and projects. A polished executive presence with well-developed facilitation, written, and oral communication skills, demonstrating both creativity and technical competence. Confidence in expressing viewpoints while understanding and supporting diverse perspectives, fostering trusting relationships. The skill to transform complex financial data into insights tailored for different audiences and business lines. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving capabilities. The ability to thrive as a member of a finance team, committed to cultivating a positive workplace culture aligned with Marvin's values. Also want to make sure you have: 5+ years of experience leading financial analytics processes and execution. Proven leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring finance teams. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, math, or a related field is required. Experience in a retail or consumer packaged goods organization, interacting directly with customer-focused functions, is advantageous. Expertise in Microsoft Excel (including macros, pivot tables, and v-lookups) and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI is essential.
