Spot Welder / Machine Operator

Twin City Staffing is hiring a spot welder / machine operator for a growing manufacturing company in Monticello, MN. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on shop experience who enjoys working with machinery and maintaining quality standards in a production environment. Location: Monticello, MN Pay: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour after shift differential Schedule: Day shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday Night shift: 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, Monday - Thursday Benefits of the spot welder / machine operator: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and AD&D insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) and Roth retirement options Paid time off (PTO) Optional voluntary benefits including supplemental life, AD&D, accident, critical care, and hospital indemnity coverage Duties of the spot welder / machine operator: Operate spot welding and related production machines Perform basic machine operation and monitoring during production runs Inspect parts throughout the process using micrometers, calipers, and other hand inspection tools Follow work instructions and production standards to ensure quality output Maintain a clean and organized work area Support general production tasks as needed Requirements of the spot welder / machine operator: Shop math skills and basic measurement ability Experience using micrometers, calipers, and hand inspection tools Ability to read blueprints or work instructions, with blueprint reading considered a plus Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift Ability to lift and handle materials up to 30 pounds Additional information: Apply today!
