Hospital and Clinic Payment Poster

Franklin General Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented Hospital and Clinic Payment Poster to join our Business Office team. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of hospital and clinic payments.Responsibilities Receive and process payments, including insurance payments, and post them to the billing system and patient accounts.Ensure patient statements accurately reflect what is owed.Balance account payments daily.Understand Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and accurately apply insurance payments to patient accounts. Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Strong math skills, analytical ability, and bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.Ability to follow work practices and work effectively in a small office environment.Experience with Cerner and/or Cerner Community Works is a plus.Ability to stay on track with individual tasks and communicate effectively with the Business Office team.
