Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Manager plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company's assets. This position focuses on minimizing shrinkage, managing safety incidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. You will conduct investigations, oversee training programs, and support our leadership teams in improving profitability through effective asset protection strategies. Your expertise in safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management will be vital in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Key Responsibilities: 30% Strategy and Planning: Lead asset protection initiatives by organizing and executing programs aimed at reducing shrink, enhancing safety awareness, and conducting audits. Collaborate with building leadership to implement strategic plans to drive performance improvements in safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. 30% Delivery and Execution: Collaborate with leadership to make informed decisions regarding safety, shrink, and compliance. Drive investigations related to safety and theft, escalating issues to senior management as necessary. Utilize performance metrics to assess and enhance safety and security measures. 20% People Management: Manage a team of Asset Protection Supervisors and Auditors, focusing on recruitment, performance appraisal, and professional development. Identify training needs across departments to ensure compliance and operational excellence related to safety and shrink. 20% Compliance: Lead regulatory investigations and maintain compliance with safety protocols and security measures. Work closely with contracted security supervisors and ensure that all security systems are operational. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Reports to Sr. Manager of Asset Protection. Supervises 1-3 Asset Protection staff. Travel Requirements: Overnight travel of 20% to 50% may be required. Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary but may require occasional movement or lifting of light items. Working Conditions: Office environment with infrequent unpleasant conditions. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years in Asset Protection or relevant fields. 2 or 4-year college degree. Wicklander & Zulawski certification. Experience with CCTV and digital security systems. Logistics or investigation experience. Completion of LPC or LPQ. Experience in team leadership. Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education: No additional education beyond the minimum is required. Minimum Years of Work Experience: At least 2 years. Minimum Leadership Experience: None required.
