Porter / Groundskeeper - Pittsburgh, PA (15222) Join a welcoming residential community where your work keeps the property looking its best every day. As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you'll support apartment communities, helping create clean, inviting spaces residents are proud to call home. This is a contract-to-hire role with Thursday-Monday, plus weekends 8am-5pm hours at $16/hr. Job Description You will help maintain interior and exterior spaces, support amenity areas, and ensure residents have a clean, inviting environment. Responsibilities Clean lobbies, offices, amenity rooms, restrooms, and common areas Maintain outdoor courtyards, pool/spa spaces, and walkways Remove trash and maintain dumpsters, compactors, and docks Clean elevators, stairwells, windows, bike storage, and furnishings Assist with weekly resident Happy Hour on a rotating schedule Support maintenance team tasks and report repair needs Demonstrate safe use of cleaning chemicals and provide excellent hospitality Required Skills Prior porter/groundskeeping or janitorial experience preferred Ability to work Thursday-Monday schedule (8am-5pm) Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures Benefits Through BGSF: Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave (as applicable per state/local law) Referral bonuses #ZIPS1 BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
