Accounts Payable ClerkPosition Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) function. The ideal candidate will ensure timely communication with vendors, maintain accurate documentation, and provide administrative support to promote efficient financial processes. Location: Latham, NY Compensation: $55,000 - $62,000 Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely review and distribution of incoming emails and requests Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and payment-related questions Complete and submit required Accounts Payable forms and documentation accurately and in accordance with company policies Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and files Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Payable department, including data entry, filing, and report preparation as needed Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting, or administrative support preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
