Description Diagnostic Assessment: Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues related to engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components. Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs. Customer Service: Communicate with customers to understand their concerns and provide clear explanations of the necessary repairs and estimated costs. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Quality Control: Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure that all issues have been resolved and the vehicle is functioning properly. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of tools and equipment. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to deliver high-quality service to customers. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical training program in automotive technology is preferred. Certifications: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable. Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
