Contract Professionals, Inc. Job Title: Altium PCB Designer - Undersea Systems Location: McLeansville, NC (Onsite/Hybrid) Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: Up to $57/hr. Position Overview Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Altium PCB Designer to support CCA development for high-reliability undersea communication systems. This role supports electronics hardware development within a defense environment requiring precision layout, documentation control, and fabrication coordination. Key Responsibilities • Design multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer • Support CCA development for undersea communication systems • Generate fabrication documentation including BOMs, ODB++ packages, and 3D models • Maintain PCB libraries and manage footprint/schematic data • Coordinate with fabrication vendors to clarify design documentation • Support schematic capture and layout integration • Contribute to prototyping and board bring-up activities Required Qualifications • Associate's degree or equivalent experience • Minimum 7 years of relevant PCB design experience • At least 4 years of Altium PCB design experience • Strong understanding of IPC and manufacturing standards • Knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance • U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Altium Designer 27 • Experience with IPC footprint and schematic generators • Experience with Mentor Graphics tools (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx) • Experience with schematic capture (Altium or Xpedition) • 3D modeling experience (SolidWorks, NX, or CREO) • Experience with Footprint Expert • Hands-on circuit design and prototyping exposure Work Environment • Onsite/Hybrid (3+ days onsite preferred) • 9/80 schedule available US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.
