RN Manager Trauma Program Manchester, NHScheduleFull-time Days (No Weekends) Located in Manchester, NH,is a 330-bed acute carehospital and Level III Trauma Center serving southern New Hampshire andnorthern Massachusetts. Job Responsibilities Developing,implementingandmaintainingacost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughouttheir care in thecontinuum at CMC. The TraumaProgram Managerwill alsoserve asa liaison and resource between the hospital andEMS providers, FireServices,AmbulanceServicesand Police. The TraumaProgram Managerwill also developandmaintaina relationship with the EMS medicalDirector and NHState trauma authorities, serving on various committeesasappropriate. Developspolicies and procedures based oncurrentbestpracticeand State of NH trauma directives. Plans, coordinates,implementsand evaluates allactivities oftrauma patient care under thedirection of the Trauma Medical Director. Conductsconcurrent monitoring and evaluation of traumasystem plan by ongoing review of alltraumamedicalrecords.Documentssuch review in the traumaregistry.Identifiescorrective actionplansasappropriate. Maintains current knowledge of trauma care through research,conferences ,self-studyand maintenance of certifications. Coordinatesthe preparationfor statewideandAmerican College of Surgeonstrauma system designation site visit. Respond to trauma team activations that occur during workhours. Provides guidance as needed intraumaresponsewhilemonitoringthe quality ofcareprovided. Assists the EmergencydepartmentED physiciandirector as needed for CMC resource hospital initiatives. Responsible for oversight,maintenance, review, qualityassurance and adherence to NH TEMSIS computerized Patient Care Reporting systemfor all services and patients transported toinaccordance withthe criteria and guidelines set forth and atthedirectionof the Medical Director of Emergency Services. Job Qualifications Education: Nursing degreerequired. BSNrequired Experience: Minimum ofthreeyearscaring for trauma patientsrequired in an acute care setting- RECENT Licensure/Certification: Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCCrequired.
