Job Description: Rate: $15/hr Estimated Hours: (3-4hrs/week) The Letterpress Monitor oversees the Letterpress shop during open shop hours. It is the responsibility of the monitor to provide assistance to the students to help them troubleshoot press difficulties, find assets and facilitate shop use. While it is not the monitor's responsibility to clean, they must ensure students have cleaned and put all type etc. away. Monitors should inspect presses, brayers, and ink areas to ensure students have cleaned everything properly. Ensure all roller carriage handles are in the upright position and aprons are covering the rollers. Requirements: Qualifications Required: Experience in letterpress shop Understanding of safe handling of letterpress equipment and assets Additional Information: Please note MassArt: Does not support employment-based visa sponsorship or non-student exchange visitor visa sponsorship.
