Title: Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) - Perioperative Services / Operating Room Location: Los Angeles, CA 90012 Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week Schedule: Monday - Friday (No weekends or holidays) Duration: 16-week assignment (Long term Contract)Position Overview: The client is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) with 5-7 years of managerial experience in the Operating Room (OR) and perioperative setting. Role & Responsibilities: Manage perioperative nursing staff and oversee daily OR operations Supervise surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety standards Coordinate patient flow in the OR, PACU, and Same Day Surgery units Support scheduling and resource management for multiple surgical specialties Mentor and evaluate nursing staff, providing leadership and guidance Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards Adapt to changing OR demands and provide support for complex procedures Required Experience: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Same Day Surgery Central Processing Services Surgery Scheduling The CNM will oversee operations across multiple surgical specialties, including: Orthopedics Robotics Ophthalmology ENT Plastic Surgery Gynecology Urology Vascular Podiatry Thoracic General Surgery Qualifications and skills: Experience circulating and assisting in a wide range of surgical procedures Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and OR protocols Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and provide support during complex and routine procedures Adaptable, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications MAB or CPI certification LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City) Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to assignment Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Minimum 5-7 years of OR management experience in perioperative services Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and protocols across
