This role oversees field electrical operations, ensures project milestones are met, and guarantees work is completed safely and to specification.Responsibilities Lead and manage onsite electrical crews, subcontractors, and trade partners on data center construction projects. Oversee installation of electrical systems including switchgear, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and high voltage distribution. Plan and schedule daily/weekly tasks and manpower to meet project deadlines. Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, safety teams, and other trades to maintain workflow. Enforce jobsite safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and site standards. Track materials, equipment, progress, and labor to maintain budget alignment. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays. Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control. (Data center superintendent roles require expertise with mission-critical electrical installations and large-scale commercial/industrial systems.) Requirements 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role. Prior experience on data centers , mission-critical , or large industrial/commercial electrical projects is strongly preferred. Ability to read blueprints, electrical one-lines, plans, and job specifications. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, and electrical safety requirements. OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain). Ability to lead teams, plan work, and communicate effectively with field and office stakeholders. Strong problem solving, organization, and documentation skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
