Job Summary The WalkMe SDET will contribute to improving product quality by developing and automating test cases for complex software solutions. This role works closely with product, engineering, and interdisciplinary teams-including hardware, firmware, software, systems, and test engineering-to build end-to-end automation solutions supporting advisor, investor, and teammate platforms. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality releases, reducing cycle times, and enhancing test coverage through automation. Key Responsibilities Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Defect Reviews, Sprint Demos, and Retrospectives, and lead activities where applicable. Participate in story refinement, analyzing and understanding user story acceptance criteria. Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure appropriate test coverage. Automate test scenarios using internal and open-source tools and frameworks. Review user interfaces for functionality and consistency. Work with software engineers to understand product architecture and features. Create and maintain data scenarios to support testing needs. Analyze test results and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle. Document and track defects through resolution. Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including implementation and use. Experience developing test automation using languages such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience using or developing automation frameworks with tools such as TestNG, RestAssured, Playwright, or equivalent. Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of UI applications and front-end behavior. Experience with visual testing tools (e.g., Playwright visual testing, SoftSlabs, or similar). Ability to test WalkMe overlays and underlying application functionality. Development experience in Java, C#, .NET, or similar technologies. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and the role of testing/automation in the pipeline. Experience with automation tools such as Appium, Xcode, Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber. Experience creating automated API and UI test suites. Prior experience as a QA or SDET in Agile/Scrum teams; Financial industry experience is a plus. Experience with accessibility testing. Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure. Experience with WalkMe or other digital adoption platforms. Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr. Experience with Jira and Confluence. Leadership experience in release processes or project delivery. Experience driving shift-left strategies and coaching team members on best practices. Strong customer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.
