Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Oversee the daily operations of the adult behavioral health unit, including staffing, scheduling, and productivity management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and enhance patient outcomes. Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff, including competencies and certifications. Monitor patient care quality, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, and address operational issues. Act as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and physicians to promote satisfaction, and assist with recruitment and retention of nursing personnel. Candidate requirements Active RN license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred. 3+ years of psychiatric nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (to be obtained within 30 days of hire). Why work with us?
