AC Apprentice - St. Cloud, FL

Job Summary: The AC Apprentice / Helper will assist installers on various HVAC projects assigned by project foreman or leader. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist with the installation of various AC systems, both indoor and outdoor. • Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner. • Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems. • Follow all safety procedures. • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights. Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
