In this role, youll provide high-quality care to critically ill cardiovascular patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. This position is an excellent growth opportunity for nurses from telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or ICU backgrounds with full cross-training offered to advance into the CVICU environment.Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients Perform continuous patient assessments pre-, intra-, and post-procedure Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with physicians on treatment strategies Educate patients and families on recovery and care expectations Respond quickly and effectively to acute or emergent patient conditions Uphold all nursing standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies What You BringEducation Required: Associate Degree in Nursing Preferred: BSN or higher Experience Prior hospital nursing experience required Telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or ICU experience strongly encouraged CCRN certification preferred but not required Licensure & Certifications Active Multi-State RN license (or must obtain within 30 days if relocating from another Compact state) AHA BLS certification (within 7 days of hire) AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications (required within orientation period for ICU/CCU/SICU/CVICU) Why Join Envoy Recruitment?
