Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembly & Test Technician II Compensation: Up to $21 per hour depending on experience Shift/Working Hours: 1st Shift - 6:00 am to 3:30 pmAbout the role: PrideStaff is partnering with a forward-thinking manufacturing leader to find a detail-oriented Tech II Assembly & Test Technician in Black Mountain. In this role, you will play a vital part in the production cycle, moving between precision assembly and functional testing in a pristine, climate-controlled environment. What you will do: Precision Assembly: Perform assembly, testing, and repair of mechanical and electronic components using mechanical drawings and procedures. Technical Testing: Set up and operate specialized test equipment, including power supplies, meters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure product functionality. Tool Operation: Independently utilize assembly tools, microscopes, and measuring devices to meet high-quality production standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct basic functional testing of products, ensuring all output meets strict operational specifications. Collaborative Safety: Contribute to a secure and efficient work environment while working independently under the mentorship of senior technicians. Problem Solving: Identify and address basic electronic or mechanical discrepancies during the assembly process. Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of electronic and mechanical concepts; previous soldering experience is a huge plus! Attention to Detail: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small, precision parts. Analytical Skills: The ability to read and interpret operation sheets, mechanical drawings, and perform general math (decimals/fractions). Reliability & Focus: High School Diploma or equivalent, with the ability to remain focused during precision tasks for extended periods.
