Akkodis is seeking an AEM Architect/Developer for a Contract position with a client in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will architect, design, and develop highly scalable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and integration with enterprisegrade platforms. Rate Range: $50/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. AEM Architect/Developer job responsibilities include: • Architect and develop highly scalable, highly available AEMbased digital experience solutions. • Translate complex business, technical, and functional requirements into detailed architectural blueprints using AEM best practices. • Participate in client discussions and present solution approaches tailored to both technical and nontechnical audiences. • Provide design oversight, planning, and technical governance for successful delivery of AEM programs. • Work in Agile/Scrum teams to perform AEM design, development, administration, and troubleshooting. • Build and maintain largescale, highly responsive eCommerce web applications using Adobe Experience Manager. • Develop AEM components, templates, dialogs, client libraries, and integrations with internal/external systems. • Work with RESTful APIs, SOAP/XML, JSON, and headless AEM (Content as a Service). • Utilize Cloud Manager and DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, and Ansible. • Maintain best practices in version control using Git/SVN and ensure code quality. Desired Qualifications: • 12+ years of experience including strong AEM development and architecture expertise. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • Strong Java and JavaScript experience with deep understanding of UI technologies. • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. • Deep experience with AEM 6.5+, CQ component development, templates, and content architecture. • Strong understanding of OSGi, Apache Felix Console, Sling Models, servlets, workflows, and JCR APIs. • Experience with headless AEM implementations, Content Fragments, and AEM as a Service. • Familiarity with Akamai CDN, API gateway integrations, and enterprise search systems (preferred). • Experience with Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
