Proficiency in scanning small parts, including thyroid, testicular, and musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging. • Abdominal Imaging: Experience in full abdominal ultrasound imaging, essential for diagnostic purposes. • Vascular Ultrasound: Ability to perform various vascular studies, including carotid, arterial, and venous duplex exams. Shift and On-Call Expectations: • Hours Per Week: 40 hours, with some flexibility in daily schedule. • On-Call Rotation: Sonographers participate in an evening and weekend call schedule, which includes: o Evenings: On-call until midnight o Weekends: On-call from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM • Call Team: The on-call rotation is shared among a team of five technologists, ensuring manageable coverage. Certifications and Experience Requirements: Sonographers are expected to have certifications and experience relevant to the types of imaging provided at AO Fox Hospital. Candidates should demonstrate a high level of proficiency and competence in each of the listed study areas, as well as experience that aligns with the imaging needs of a hospital setting.
