Steady pipeline of diverse local commercial projects Supportive team culture with lots of growth potential About Our Client A growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts in the Statesboro area. This role is ideal for a detailoriented, analytical construction professional with experience estimating a broad range of commercial projects - from groundup builds to interior renovations and specialty work. Job Description Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects (groundup, renovations, site work, interiors, etc.). Perform quantity takeoffs, analyze drawings/specs, and develop cost breakdowns. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids. Participate in preconstruction meetings and provide costrelated guidance. Build and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors in the Statesboro area. Assist in proposal development, scope narratives, schedules, and bid documents. Track historical cost data and update pricing models. The Successful Applicant 3-7 years of experience in commercial construction estimating (open to more senior candidates). Strong understanding of broad commercial market sectors (retail, office, industrial, education, public, medical, tenant improvements, etc.). Proficiency in estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to interpret construction documents and develop accurate scopes. Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills. A proactive, solutionsfocused mindset. Local Statesboro or surroundingarea experience preferred.
