We're seeking a detail-driven person to help power our commercial lending decisions. Where you'll help shape the quality and success of our commercial lending portfolio. In this position, you'll analyze key financial data, support our Commercial and SBA Lenders, and ensure our loan files meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance What You'll Do: Analyze financial information for borrowers and guarantors, including tax returns, financial statements, cash flow reports, and collateral documentation Assess credit risk and prepare clear, well-supported loan recommendations and credit proposals Verify accuracy of applicant financial data by reconciling tax filings, balance sheets, and credit reports Conduct ongoing reviews of existing commercial loans to evaluate loan quality and recommend necessary actions Monitor maturing commercial loans and coordinate renewal requirements by collecting updated financial documentation Ensure completeness and compliance of commercial loan files with internal policies and regulatory standards Collaborate with lenders and members to obtain missing or updated financial information in a timely manner Assist in preparing credit quality reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors Support the credit union's commercial lending goals and overall portfolio management Maintain organized workflow, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines Assist with audit and regulatory examination responses through preparation of required documentation Provide additional support to the AVP of Business Services Manager and commercial lending team as needed Evaluate SBA loan applications, including 504, 7(a), and Express loan programs The Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm The Pay Range: $58,470-87,530 Our compensation structure is designed to accommodate candidates with diverse levels of expertise and experience, offering opportunities for growth over time. What You'll Bring: Three years of experience in commercial/business loan credit analysis and documentation and processing; or equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities BA or BS degree or equivalent required, preferably in finance, preferred Formal credit training and experience underwriting C&I, CRE, and SBA loans, preferred Working knowledge of basic accounting and finance, statistics, ratio analysis, calculus, industry assessment and financial statement analysis Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work and complete multiple competing tasks and demands within deadlines Strong analytical and computer skills to include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to adapt to new software and technologies As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we hire and retain the best-qualified people without regard to marital status, race, religion, color, national origin, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
