Windsor Recreation Services seeks seasonal summer Water Safety Instructors. The Water Safety Instructor will provide aquatic instruction in classes and programs based upon the guidelines and standard operating procedures set by the American Red Cross. Performing duties may include possible phone usage (talking/listening), greeting participants, verbal class instruction and equipment/pool setup. Requirements: WSI certification; previous aquatics program teaching experience; and, current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain. Must be able to work June through August.Salary is $18.50 per hour, depending on experience. Minimum Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 16 years of age Be certified or willing to obtain CPR/AED & First Aid training before the start of the program Candidates must have Lifeguard Certification Successful completion of the Town's background and drug screening process (includes screening for marijuana) To apply: Complete an online application and attach a resume at The position will be opened until filled.
