Deliver individualized speech therapy aimed at enhancing voice, language, fluency, and swallowing capabilities. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to design holistic treatment programs. Engage with patients and families, providing education to help foster progress in their daily lives. Perform periodic inpatient speech therapy assessments to maintain a seamless continuum of care. Document clinical interactions accurately and timely as per legal and organizational standards. Commit to lifelong learning by pursuing continuing education and engaging with peers. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. If not ASHA-certified, completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required. Licenses & Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Essential Skills Solid understanding of evidence-based methods for treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders across all ages. Exceptional communication skills proficient in engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
