Home Health RN Job Details Location: Douglasville, GA (30135) - Conveniently located near Atlanta, ideal for Georgia nursing professionals seeking travel assignments. Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration: 8-hour days Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2230-$2540 Patient Visits: 5-10 patients per day Territory: Travel up to 75 miles from home clinic; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate (from patient home to patient home) EMR: HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB), OASIS Dress Code: Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Georgia RN license (Registered Nurse license required) Minimum 1 year of recent adult home health or hospice nursing experience Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS documentation (recent use or willingness to retrain) Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance Ability to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic for patient visits Weekend and on-call availability may be required (details discussed during interview) Home Health RN Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver skilled home nursing care in accordance with physician orders and agency policies Conduct home visits for start of care, wound care, follow-up, and patient assessments Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) Accurately document patient care and clinical activities in EMR systems (HCHB, OASIS) Participate in periodic office meetings and on-call rotation (typically once per month) Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and compliance with healthcare regulations Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding Georgia home health travel RN job.
