Tool and Die Maker

Job Description Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits that begin on the 1st day of employment. Primary Responsibilities: Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures Assist in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required Safely operate all tool room equipment: Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc. Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); journeyman's certification and/or equivalent experience. Demonstrate ability to use all hand measurement tools and to read and interpret tooling drawings Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
